Ullswater Steamers Lake Cruises
Glenridding
Ullswater 'Steamers' is an award winning Lake District attraction celebrating over 150 years sailing on England's most beautiful lake. We have five vessels sailing on Ullswater Lady of the Lake originally launched in 1877, Raven in 1889, Lady Dorothy, Lady Wakefield and Western Belle
Linked to Arthurian legend and the inspiration behind one of our most loved poems ‘The Daffodils’ by William Wordsworth, it is little wonder that Ullswater is referred to as England’s most beautiful lake.
It is unique in the Lake District created by three separate glaciers which give rise to a dramatic vista of mountains, waterfalls and rolling fells.
Our round the lake pass enables you to hop on/off all day and for even better value it comes with a 50% voucher to travel with our sister company The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, on another day. Remember these boats were made for walking so take advantage of one of the most beautiful places to visit in England and combine a cruise with some of the most famous and spectacular walks in the Lake District.
