Epworth
Epworth
The attractive town of Epworth is perhaps best known for its famous son, John Wesley, the founder of world methodism. It was here in the eighteenth century that he delivered emotional sermons to his flock from his fathers tomb and the Market Cross. Today you can follow in his footsteps along the Wesley Trail visiting the many places of interest, including the Old Rectory, once the family home and now a museum and the beautiful Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
